The Most Reckless Electrifying Wrestler in Sports Entertainment

.:.:[ Foreword ]:.:. There's one man on this roster who truly possesses the heart of a champion. No other man is willing to put his life on the line just to capture a dream. No other man has the GUTS to put everything on the line. No man on the roster, with the exception of Jeff Hardy. His resiliency is unmatched. His heart is immeasurable. Jeff Hardy will do whatever it takes to win the World Title, no matter what the consequences or the circumstances. If you think he's crazy... You're in the wrong business. Jeff Hardy has what it takes to be one of the greatest to grace a World Wrestling Federation ring. At BackLash, every man on the roster will experience what he's been saying all along... That's he's...

The Most Reckless Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment

.:.:.:[ The scene opens backstage at a WWF House Show Event. Here, we find Jeff Hardy walking through the halls, without a t-shirt, and a bandana around his head. He's wearing dark blue jeans, with one hand in his pocket, and the other holding a Discman. The ear phones are small pieces that fit comfortably in his ear. He's nodding his head back and forth, jamming to Limp Biskit, while crowd noises from the arena can be heard in the background. As he continues, he's suddenly stopped from behind by Lilian Garcia. He removes his ear pieces, and holds the Discman to his side... ]:.:.:.

.:.:[ Jeff Hardy ]:.:. What is it?

.:.:[ Lillian Garcia ]:.:. Jeff, I just need to get a few more words from you in regards to the upcoming Battle Royal for the World Title at BackLash...

.:.:[ Jeff Hardy ]:.:. Aren't there any other superstars in the World Wrestling Federation?

.:.:[ Lillian Garcia ]:.:. Of course... It's just they aren't too cooperative when it comes to interviews, so, because we have to put on a show, we have to go to our reliable superstars. So far, that's you and Albert.

.:.:[ Jeff Hardy ]:.:. Albert?! You really are desperate! [ Jeff laughs. ] If the World Wrestling Federation really wants to compete with other wrestling companies, it has to, and I mean IT HAS TO keep guys like Albert off camera as much as possible unless they're in a match. And even then, watch the camera time you give him. Wanna reason why? Well, just looking at him we both know why. Albert, if you want to be let in on the secret, look in the mirror pal. This guy has no charisma and he's a chore to look at, and the WWF goes and does something stupid like give him air time. It's truly beyond me... You know, sense we have stumbled upon the subject of Fat- Prince Albert, I happen to have a few words for the guy in regards to the words he had to say about none other than the most electrifying man in the sports entertainment, "The Show-Stealer".  [ Jeff turns to the camera. ] Albert, THINK before you say anything from now until you die, and it will save you a lot of embarrassment. Actually, when I think about, you suffer enough embarrassment as it is just by your appearance alone. Take my advice, and it won't be nearly as much. Albert, you have the nerve to question the importance of my numerous tag team reigns with my brother, and simply right them off as meaningless? Well Albert, what have you ever done? [ Jeff pauses... Then continues after acting as if he were thinking extremely hard. ] NOT A THING! So, if having those tag team reigns still makes me a nobody, what does it make someone who's done nothing but take up space upon his first day in the WWF? [ Jeff laughs. ] Yeah, I think you see my point, idiot. Albert, you're huge, pal, and I have no doubt you're going to make some noise in the Rumble on Sunday, however, it's not your wrestling ability, or lack there of that's going to lose the match for you... It's your overwhelming stupidity that's going to take you out of the ring. Albert, I too will be around for a long time. The difference between us lies in the fact that during my time here, I reach my potential, and DOMINATE. You? Well, you'll be as you always were... NOTHING!

.:.:[ Lillian Garcia ]:.:. Jeff, to be perfectly honest... You are a little different.

.:.:[ Jeff Hardy ]:.:. Don't start this. I already had this talk with Michael Cole. He thinks I'm acting like The Heartbreak Kid. That's a compliment of the highest honor! If I'm acting a little different, believe me, it's for the best.

.:.:[ Lillian Garcia ]:.:. What does this match for the World Title mean to you?

.:.:[ Jeff Hardy ]:.:. This is my first match in this place. I want to really make a name for myself. I want to be recognized when I walk down the street in any and every city. Lillian, by now, you should know that I don't let opportunities pass me by. This is an opportunity. An opportunity to propel myself into the World Title ranks. I don't want to play around in the Tag Team ranks anymore. I don't want to fool around in the Intercontinental Title ranks. I think at this point in my career, and I'm too good for that. The Rumble is my time to prove it. I'm not gonna let a little crash detour me from my path to become the dominant force in wrestling today, and I'll do it by any means necessary. I don't care if I injury myself. You can't win a title from the sideline, nursing an injury. Too many wrestlers have done that. Injuries, man, they're a competitors worst nightmare, and a Godsend for a coward. I'm no coward. To the entire federation and all of my fans. Rest assured, I am the next World Champion. What, you think I'm kiddin' here? My true fans don't. I'm too unpredictable. I'm capable of doing ANYTHING! They know that when Jeff Hardy sets out to do something, he does it. The Royal Rumble will be no different. I'm on a quest to restore the true skill of a World Champion to the World Championship, and at the same time, make this place better than it's ever been. Do not, and I mean, do not underestimate me. That's when I'm the most dangerous. Just try me...

.:.:[ Lillian Garcia ]:.:. Well Jeff, do you have anything else to say about any other competitors in Sunday's big event, BackLash?

.:.:[ Jeff Hardy ]:.:. Definitely. Al Snow sticks out in my mind. I have no problem with this guy. Sure, I think he's off the wall. Yeah, I KNOW he's off the wall, and maybe that's been his problem. He's another one of those guys who has been around since the day before forever, but really has little to show for it. I've been in this business for maybe four years now, and I have probably already surpassed him in achievements and wrestling ability. Experience? It depends. Al Snow has a lot of experience over a ten year plus career, and in comparison, I have little experience in my three year plus career. Here's where it depends. Over Al Snow's career, he's become a professional LOSER! He knows how to lose better than the best of 'em. I on the other hand, in my three to four years of wrestling have more experience on winning than Snow does in his ten year plus career. What's the point? Well, the point is at his age, his prime has come and gone. His potential has already been reached, and he's back sliding to the end of his career. What makes him dangerous is next to me, he's probably the only man who will do anything to win the World Title, because his time is almost up. What makes him not much of a worry is that he's many, and I mean MANY opportunities to make something better out of himself, and he hasn't. He's just silly ole' Al Snow. The truth is, at BackLash, he and the rest of the roster will fall short of the richest prize in the business, thanks to me.

.:.:[ Lillian Garcia ]:.:. Anyone else?

.:.:[ Jeff Hardy ]:.:. Sure, Kurt Angle. The Olympic Hero... Yeah, whatever. I'm not impressed. As a matter of fact, I've never been impressed by this guy. He's a cry baby. He's a guy who will lose, then cry about it, or try and hurt the guy he lost to in a fit like a little kid. There's no professionalism. Intelligence would tell him that, but since he doesn't have it, he's free to carry on like a moron. Hurting his opponent after he beats him, isn't a good example of integrity on his part, so he obviously doesn't have that. Then there's intensity. We're talking about a guy who will attempt to walk out of a match when his opponent raises the bar of intensity to a level he can't contend with. Kurt Angle preaches about the Three I's constantly, yet... Yet he doesn't practice them himself! So, we see what kind of a guy he is, so I ask, would he make a good World Champion? Of course not! In the condition the WWF is in right now, having him as the WWF Champion, representing his company, would be terrible! Don't worry though, I'll make sure that doesn't happen. One way to do that is to win the title myself. That shouldn't be too difficult. Another thing about Kurt, he tells you that he possesses the Three I's, when he really doesn't. When he tells you he's going to win the rumble and the World Champion, now you know that he's just spewing BULLSHIT!

.:.:[ Michael Cole ]:.:. Go one with the next...

.:.:[ Jeff Hardy ]:.:. Raven? Raven honestly believes he can win this Rumble? I dunno, but if he does, he's forgetting something. No, he's forgetting someone. He's forgetting Jeff Hardy is in the Rumble for a title that he has his heart and dreams set on. That could prove to be costly for Raven. Raven is a Hardcore Specialist. Jeff Hardy is a man who can do it all. He can be hardcore, and do it equally or better than Raven himself! Raven is one dimensional and at the rumble, I will prove this. I have a reputation for showing up opposing wrestlers' weak points. I dunno, maybe it's a sign of my greatness. Yeah, actually I do know. It is a sign of my greatness. There will be no trash cans in the rumble. No brooms, or any of that crap. It's man versus man, without the aid of weapons. Now this is for real men. Raven. I just don't you're a real man. You're a person who hides behind weapons so you don't have to rely on your limited wrestling ability. Raven, if I were you, I wouldn't even show up. You don't have the drive, the guts, or the ability to do much of anything in this rumble.

.:.:[ Lillian Garcia ]:.:. Go on...

.:.:[ Jeff Hardy ]:.:. Lightweights... I OWN THEM! I am the best high flyer in the wrestling world! I do things that these Lightweights are afraid to do, and that's definitely something, because if you're a high flyer, you're a risk taker. I take risks the others wouldn't try if they're life depended on it. Although I'm about their size, I have to compete in the Heavyweight Division, because to be perfectly honest, guys like Funaki and Taka just aren't much of a challenge for me. I think the Lightweightweight Division should join with the Women's Division. Hell, I'm sure Torii or Lita could probably knock off a little guy like Funaki or Taka off. As a matter of fact, they could knock them out of the ring easily. Maybe the WWF should have put a couple of women in the Rumble. The point I'm trying to make is that Taka and Funaki, you're in over your heads, which isn't too hard to do in your cases. You're the guys who screw up a pool party because you can't go into the deep end. Especially little Funaki. Is he even five feet tall? Could you imagine a Funaki with the World Title? The Lightweight Division and all who participate in it are little boys. That's why I'm out of it, dammit. I ready to go toe to toe with the biggest men in the federation. Now, it's no secret that you don't need overwhelming strength to win the Rumble. Kane, The Undertaker, The Big Show, they've all come short in the past. Yet, don't think that strength is not an issue. You have to be able to do it all. Taka and Funaki can't. You're fast and quick to the extreme, but in comparison to the top guys in the federation, your strength level is laughable. Now, you have a The Big Show who is slow as hell, but he strength to the extreme. You have to have a strong balance like myself. I don't have incredible strength, but I'm the fastest man in the WWF, and I'm probably the smartest.

.:.:[ Jeff Hardy ]:.:. And finally, there's Hunter Hearst Hemsley. He's simply a guy you can't overlook under any circumstances and expect to win. No, he's too good to be ignored. I'm not afraid to say it. He's good. You have guys who'll come through and say he sucks, with really no reason whatsoever other than they don't like him. I can't stand Triple H! I don't respect him! But hey, I have to acknowledge the fact that this guy has held the WWF under his thumb from time to time, and let's not forget, he always finds his way to the top. He's that damn good. What is this, the praise Triple H Hour? Hell no! Triple H may be that damn good, but I'm here to show him that I'm that damn better than he is! I'm here to show The Game and everyone else here that I'm the new guy on the scene, and true to my alias, "The Show-Stealer", I plan to steal the show right under Triple H's enormous nose! It's MY TIME NOW. Triple H has been around long enough. It's time someone else take the seat in the throne as the dominant force in wrestling. Soon, I will be the man who NO ONE can afford to overlook. I will stop at nothing to accomplish this. I will not stay down. I will not go over! There's a reason why I'm the King of Krash and the Sultan of Smash. It means I'll sacrifice my body in any way, to accomplish this goal of becoming the World Champion. No one else in the WWF can make this claim, because they're not...

X-TREME!

.:.:.:[ Jeff nods with a smile, anticipating the great event ahead. He then walks away, and Lillian closes the segment. The scene fades there. ]:.:.:.
